Do you have a PowerPoint presentation that you would like to post onto your blog or website in a quick and easy way? Look no further: this tutorial will explain a simple and impressive way to share any PowerPoint presentation on the web. It is fast, easy, and free. All that is necessary is to open a free Windows Live SkyDrive account.

Once you have finished your Powerpoint presentation and have decided that you would like to share it with the world, a plethora of opportunities present themselves. Numerous ways of saving and sharing your Powerpoint presentation can cause some confusion. This tutorial shows one way that is quick, easy, free, and looks fantastic.

First, open a free Windows Live email account. It should only take a few minutes. After that is completed and you have obtained an email and password, open the PowerPoint presentation that you would like to share.

In PowerPoint, select "File/Save&Send" (see image A). There you will find the different choices for saving your project and sharing on the Internet.

In the Save&Send menu, choose, "Save to Web." In the right hand column it will say, "Save to Windows Live SkyDrive." (see image A)

Click "Sign-in" and enter the email and password that you created in the first step. You may have to wait a few seconds, depending upon your Internet connection, for PowerPoint to connect to your Windows Live SkyDrive Account.

After PowerPoint has connected to your account, you have the choice of saving your PowerPoint presentation to "My Folders" or "Public." (see image A). Choose the Public option if you would like to post your PowerPoint presentation on your blog or website. Again, this will take a few seconds for your presentation to upload onto your Windows Live SkyDrive account.

A "Save as" window will pop up asking what version to save your PowerPoint presentation in. This is up to you, however, the .pptx format will work just fine for sharing slides on the web. If you would prefer to share your presentation as a movie, choose "Windows Media Video" .wmv format. (see image B).

Now that you have uploaded your presentation it is just a matter of inserting the link for your presentation onto your website. Simply copy the code provided for you. It should look something like this:

(iframe src="http://r.office.microsoft.com/r/rlidPowerPointEmbed?p1=1&p2=1&p3=SD8D9E33926291B7A8!217&p4=" width="402" height="327" frameborder="0" scrolling="no")(/iframe)

You may find the code in your Public folder by selecting "More/Share/embed." (see picture C)

You may change the size of the presentation on your website by changing the width and height numbers in the code. Be careful to keep the numbers in quotes!

Copy and paste this code onto your blog or website and you are done!

Everyone should be able to easily view, click through slides, and enlarge the size to view it full screen on SkyDrive if they choose.

In just a few easy steps, anyone can publish their PowerPoint presentation on a website or blog with little difficulty and at no cost. All it takes is a little patience and copy & paste!
